I would like to recommend this supplement to anyone looking to improve their overall health or target joints, skin/hair. I read about strong benefits of astaxanthin and decided to give it a try, as I had back pain frequently, have history of knees issues and hair loss due to high stress. Overall, I feel myself great and to my surprise, I got a new hair growing on the bolding patch. I assume it is combined effect of decreased stress and taking this supplement. I also work with computer the whole day and hope that it will be beneficial for my eyes. My grandma, mom and uncle are all taking it as well and claim relief in terms of pain in muscles and joints. Capsule size are little on a bigger side, but it is no problem to swallow it with a plenty of liquid.

I have 2 bulging discs which can cause so much pain and make movement incredibly difficult. I work a physical job, so I need to keep my body moving and pain free. This is a lifesaver! I went off it for a while, thinking I didn't need it, but I definitely noticed the difference.

I used to order this via Amazon's subscribe and save program, and when they stopped offering it I stopped taking it. But I found some old aches and pains (mostly in my hands) came back, so I searched on line for a supplier and iHerb was the only one I could find that was still offering it - not even Nutrex listed it on their website. Long story short, since resuming its use my hand aches have pretty much gone away. The combinaton of astaxanthin and glucosamine, with boswellia and flaxseed, I think works better than astaxanthin alone.

I made a mistake buying this, I meant to get the higher dose of 4 mg and didn't read the label right :-( I'm sure it's a good product, I just preferred the 12 mg instead of this lower dose, which means I have to take more tablets a day, i.e. this supply will not last me what I had anticipated!! Never mind!! :-)

A good brand who specialises in Astaxanthin. 4mg is the sweet spot for bang for buck. Highly recommend.

Good product and seems to support joint health if used over the long term. Only minus is that it contains careegenan which causes stomach issues / discomfort in more than a few people.

I had swelling in my left knee, and my knee would colaspe on me at any time. After a visit to the knee doctor and xrays I was told it was age related cartilage wear. I refused shots and went with excerise to rebuild weak muscles. After several weeks my knee started to feel better, but still had some swelling and a little pain. I started taking Joint Astin and in just 24 hours the swelling and pain was gone. I take the perscribed 4 caps a day and have had no problems. I have also noted that I have more energy and feel better. I believe it helps in more areas than just joints. My wife now takes it for her sholders and hips. She is pain free now too. GREAT STUFF! I highly recommend it for people who have tried everything and still have pain.
