They cook up great and taste amazing. I love to make hummus and making hummus with dried beans is soooo much healthier than the canned beans! There is no comparison! I recommend it highly! They freeze well so you can make a big batch and use them as you want. Why buy hummus from a store which is so costly and has an expiry date when you can just make you own with a blender?

Only buy beans if they’re of the Eden Foods dried variety! Amazing quality - pretty much never get a bad bean in the whole box. Nor have I had any experience yet with holes or pests. All other dried organic chickpeas I have had to throw away loads because they were duds or because they had weevils in them or weevil damage. Yuck! Not bad that with these. They cook up tender and creamy and cook faster than other beans in my experience. Like that they come in minimal plastic - just the little window, which isn’t necessary perhaps but customers generally prefer this. FYI - the quick soaking thing thing doesn’t really work out with the chickpeas. I do it with their black beans but with these, they’ll remain a bit hard in the middle, even if I “quick soak” for longer than the stated time. Yesterday I followed the quick soak method but left it for a couple more hours, knowing that the 1-5hrs isn’t enough, and this still wasn’t enough. So really, these are best when you leave them to soak overnight - then they’re just perfect!

Still don’t understand what is the difference between Garbanzo beans and Chick peas , they supposed to be the same ? Anyway it’s a great source for protein. And definitely better than canned . Hopefully taste good and easy to cook too 🥰

Great source of protein for vegetarians, delicious and versatile, you can just cook with spices in a pressure cooker, you can make salad, hummus or fried patties. And it is organic. I love it!

The bean is nice and nutritious, good source of plant based protein. Please be careful that the paper pack is the only packing, there’s no resealable package inside. So once you opened it, you will need a jar or zipped bag for storage.

These do not soften quite as well as I hoped they would, even after cooking for quite some time. Not sure what the trick is to get them to be less tough, but the quality overall seems ok.

Great with salads, veggie soups, or as a side dish. I like garbanzo beans with broccoli. My point is that this is a good product. Enjoy as you will!
