I ordered this blend of 9 essential amino acids believing that it is good for your health and that it does not contain any harmful substances such as e.g. GMO, gluten, taste enhancers, etc.
After taking my first scoop of the stuff, diluted with water asap, it tasted excessively sweet, so I checked how much sugar is in it. And - surprise, surprise - there is no sugar, so I wondered what's the source of this tacky sweet taste. It took me quite some time to finally find the sought for information written in the very bottom line in the print so small as if begging to be ignored. By the help of magnifying lens I discovered that the product contains SUCRALOSE and ACCESULFAME POTASSIUM, i.e. artificial sweeteners, which are in some studies associated with several adverse effects, even cancer, metabolic syndrome, microbiome disruption, reproductive health hazards.... and the list goes on. I am so sorry I haven't read this micro-script before ordering the product. Now I do not intend to use it myself and neither give ti away to anyone in my family and friends. In conclusion: why to spoil a good product with an unnecessary and harmful ingredient? I am not among those who crave sweet taste, but those who do can easily add a spponful of natural honey or coconut sugar, while those with weight -loss issues can use STEVIA (natural and free of adverse effects).
