I've used tincture of plantain myself successfully when nothing else touched sinusitis and now using it for my daughter with considerable success for congestion headaches in the frontal lobe area, when all else had failed including essential oil inhalations, homeopathy etc. She is taking it in a little water twice a day. This is the only tincture of plantain I've found that I can get posted to Australia since the brilliant Voegels brand availability is very limited here. I really appreciate that this product is organic - important for tinctures I feel.

After doing some research to find what helps dissolve mucus, I came across this herb and decided to give it a try. I am on my third bottle and have noticed a REMARKABLE difference. My sinuses are so much clearer now (I was struggling with excess mucus and swelling in my sinuses) but not anymore. If you are looking for a product for dissolving mucus, I highly recommend trying this one.

This is good to have on hand for emergencies, when I'm too injured, tired, or busy to gather and prepare it myself. I have used an infusion or chopped fresh herb as a poultice, but this is a well made, easy substitute. Just dilute it with water, using the amount recommended on the bottle, and adjust as needed. I have been gathering, and using this common herb (weed) for many years, but it is not always available fresh (what I prefer). It is a powerful astringent I have used for soothing and healing hemorrhoids, skin and mouth lesions (scrapes, cysts, abscessed gums, poison oak rash, etc.) of most any kind, it appears to pull out the infection, and protect the sore while it heals quickly, also for edema in the legs and ankles tea soaked towels wrapped around is soothing, and reduces swelling. I can't find this at my local stores, thank you iHerb for making this readily accessible.
