Happy New Customer!I’m in my mid-30’s and just a few years ago started getting acne for the first time in my life. The type of acne I get is comedonal, resulting in lots of deep scars on both of my cheeks. I’m not really a vain person, but having pocs all over your face does quite a number for one’s self-esteem. Not really having the funds available for laser removal, I started researching ways to reduce the appearance of my scars at home. I started using prescription strength tretinoin cream, and it has significantly reduced the appearance of my scars. However, the tret itself has some side effects that are unpleasant; mainly extreme drying and redness. I’ve been using this oil, along with a few others, and have been extremely pleased with the results. I’ve been paying double this price for these oils at the store, for bottles that are half this size, until I found them on iHerb. I just placed my first order 2 days ago and it arrived at my door step this morning! Excellent prices, quality products, fast shipping - they’ve got a new customer for life!
I bought this oil to make oil cleanser for my face and to use in homemade eye cream and facial moisturizer. The texture of this oil is light-medium and leaves your skin feeling fresh and moisturized. It has a beautiful greenish color and a slight nutty scent. I would recommend and will purchase again.
Overall I am happy with this product. I had some doubts about the taste, but it is not as bad as I thought it would be. However, my boyfriend is not a huge fan, so next time I will probably give it a try to the seeds. I started using it a month and a half ago and it hasn't finished yet, even though I use it almost every day garnishing each dish with a tablespoon of the oil. According to my taste, it combines very well with every kind of food (salads, pasta etc.), however according to my boyfriend's taste ''it tastes weird''. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it for people like me who are on a vegetarian diet, as well as do not have a super picky taste, since the hemp seed oil is super healthy.
This has a fantastic aroma and flavor but it very strong and is better in smoothies, or hidden in salad dressings. It does not have a high heat index so becareful when cooking with it as it will probably burn and/or lose it's beneficial properties. I recommend using sparingly at first as a little goes a long way.
