Bought this great quality Firming Eye Serum because it has ingredient composition that include DMAE, Peptides, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C. It has no scent and it feels like emulsion-like serum that is white in color. It is light-weight, non-oily and it absorbs well. There is no residual feel. I have no allergy with it. I used it for upper eyelids as well as under eye areas. What I liked is it comes with a convenient packaging with pump which I appreciated. However the pump does clog at times. I will use a tissue paper to wipe off each use to reduce clog. Do note that when it pumps, it pumps quite a fair bit of the serum. So usually I used the pumped serum for both eyes in order to reduce wastage. I found that it helps to lift up my upper eyelids abit but for under eye areas I have yet to see reduction of dark eye circles.
This is an excellent serum that moisturizes the skin and keeps it in good condition. A very interesting and rare ingredient in cosmetics is alpha lipoic acid, an active antioxidant. Due to the large size, the product can be used on the entire face, not just around the eyes. That's what I did, and I was satisfied.
I have been a loyal customer of this product since I first discovered it at Whole Foods. I am now 65+, a contact lens wearer (lots of pulling), and my eyes are the youngest looking part of my face. I should have started on the other Reviva products sooner. Very rich, best at night if you wear mascara.
this is a great peptide serum to use all over your face, and is very economical! it is hard to find anything similar at this price. the serum is scentless, and it applies and absorbs well with no residue. *update* as of my most recent purchase, i find this serum does have a scent-a light floral. the texture is very hydrating, and works great as a light moisturizer for all over face.
Good, I’ve tried better. It’s just a hydrating product, and doesn’t do much else. Looking at the ingredients, I was expecting some fine lines reduction, and improving the texture but it didn’t do any of that. The good thing is that it didn’t irritate my skin or break me out, but that’s about it. I don’t plan on repurchasing it, there are definitely better products out there to try out. So, don’t expect for this to improve your under eye bags or dark circles or remove any lines, because it won’t.
Ahhh, finally something that doesn't contain all sorts of bad preservatives AND actually does something to help the delicate skin around my eyes. I was using the Bliss eye cream, which cost about $74 for a little jar and wasn't doing much to help my eyes. I kept using it for about a year because I fell for that "It's expensive, so it's got to eventually work" idea. After reading some reviews on the Reviva and Derma E brands, I decided it wouldn't be too much of a financial risk to try some of their items. I'm so very glad I did! I began using this firming eye serum about a month ago and I've had visible positive results. They were almost instantaneous results, too. I use this in conjunction with the Reviva Labs Eye Complex Firming Cream, For All Skin Types, .75 Ounce and my eyes look better than they have in 5 years. After cleansing my face, I apply a hyaluronic acid all over, then use Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System with Anti Aging Sea Serum to apply this serum. It absorbs quickly, has never stung my eyes, and it has improved the overall tautness of the skin under my eyes. A little bit goes a long way, too.
