I used to just use a Zinc supplement, until I learned more about the mineral. Turns out there's a critical balance between zinc and copper. Loved that it is in form of Zinc and Copper is because Zinc removes Copper from your cells. Zinc is also best absorbed when taken together with Vitamin C. This is an excellent supplement to keep around for colds, flu etc. Otherwise ½ tablet daily should be sufficient to keep your immunity. Zinc is directly related to the strength of your immune system. Be sure to use on a full stomach.

We supplement with Zinc in our family during cold season. These pills are large but even my 9 year old can swallow them. Whenever we feel a cold coming on, we do "shock-therapy" Zinc 2 times a day together with a quality Vitamin C about 3 times a day

To keep colds at bay, I've always taken zinc and vitamin C combined. If you start to feel a cold coming on, take 1 zinc and 1 vitamin C twice day and the cold will almost always be avoided! You may also take it throughout the cold to help you get rid of it faster! Now, my wife and I conducted a lot of research before buying Zinc, and we discovered that the "CHELATED" Zinc was the most effective (it was easily absorbed by your body instead of just passing through). Zinc is essential, because when you take it, your cells are full of zinc and no virus can enter anymore, so also when I am 80 with a wonderfull health I will continue to take it for the rest of my life. This is a good brand and not expensive and works.
