Many private companies sell chlorella at seemingly very high pricing for reasons of how the chlorella is produced.i.e. crystal freeze dried, no one else has it? I've found and tried 3 different companies which process blue green algaes containing chlorella and spirulina. Algae is nature's perfect whole food. Chlorella and spirulina are parts of broad spectrum algaes. I choose not to spend a super high price on high end production algaes. I have pre cancer spots in lungs and skin. I will never use radiation unless its 100% guarantee on removal of cancer with no side effects. I choose to consume a perfect diet geared toward health. I'm a healthy 73, aged and active. I chose to greatly reduce refined sugar, carbs, and dairy, because inflammation, severe arthritis, nerve damage, COPD, enlarged prostate is painful and uncomfortable. As a health educator I knew what to do but I waited till I was in constant pain which forced me to stop eating processed food, junk food, etc. I still cheat but everyone says I look 15 to 20 years younger. I say...up to age 70 I felt 38 years young. After 70, pain was off and on way to much. Today my body feels 58.
I recommend and take this Swansons product , I cannot gage its working, so chlorella is worthless if you are eating unhealthy processed food. A snack is ok. I have a masters degree in health education but it did not help me stop unhealthy eating habits.
